On Saturday April 9, 2016, we celebrated the International Day Of Street Children with lot's activities in Jinja town. We engaged all the street children plus other children supported by Ring of Hope. This was organized by all organizations doing work connected to the needy children. Ring of Hope was among the leading organizations to make this day a success. There was matching on the streets of Jinja by all the street children with a band and we had some speeches concerning the rights of children living on street. This was followed by much entertainment, dance and a drama play by the God-Children from Ring of Hope about the effects of using alcohol and other drugs in the families.
The Street Children could forget their sorrows for a day and enjoyed a happy program with dance, music, games and education.
